The story book has been written by Nepali writer who has been living in Hong Kong although he was born in Nepal. living in foreign country,he loves and to Nepal has given contribution in the field of literature.This book is his second book after Takiko phool. After getting success from first book,he has decided to write this book lai-se which has collection of stories.There are Eighteen stories in this book. Most of the stories have female characters and they are struggling without male support. Although they are in foreign country without male support they are able to survive doing hard labour in various places.The plot and setting of the stories are in Hong-Kong. language is Nepali but somewhere local language also has been used which has made the stories interesting to read.

After reading the stories,one can easily feel that even in the face of constraints, aspirations survive, even in adversity, creativity can flourish, and even in discomfort, emotions are exposed. Anyone who reads this collection of stories will be able to experience that Dagu Gurung, the storyteller, has the talent and ability to meaningfully communicate with the reality of the common man through stories. I feel that the simplicity of expression, conceptual depth and breadth of content in this collection of stories have re-explained Dagu Gurung's optimism for the future of any genre of literature.

While reading this collection of stories, I feel that I am reading a part of a novel, so I understand that a novel is germinating in his composition because stories are belonging to the same society,environment,and the way of life. Hopefully, this truth will be proven if any one read this book.

After reading the book readers will be able to experience that Dagu Gurung, the storyteller, has the talent and ability to meaningfully communicate with the reality of the common man through stories. I feel that the simplicity of expression, conceptual depth and breadth of content in this collection of stories have re-explained Dagu Gurung's optimism for the future of any genre of literature. While reading this collection of stories, I feel that the situation of Nepali women in abroad is as usual like Nepali women. They even face more difficulties due to language ,society and circumstances.
I hope that you will read this collection of stories and give encouragement to Dagu Gurung, the poet and storyteller who made Hong Kong a work place but his soul is in Nepal. Best wishes for the successful literary life of the poet and storyteller Daju Gurung .
